Export preparation

Prepare your buyer and shipment documents

Keep the order, payment and shipping information consistent.

Buyer information for the invoice

Prepare your full name or company name, address, phone number, email, destination port and payment currency. Include the selected vehicles and quantity. Check that the seller details on the invoice match the agreed beneficiary details.

Check the vehicle file

Request the vehicle identification number, model, registration information and available condition records. Compare the VIN in the vehicle photos with the order details. Ask which export and vehicle documents will be supplied for your particular shipment.

Coordinate the shipping file

Confirm who provides the commercial invoice, packing information and transport document, and when each will be available. Your clearing agent should review the planned document set before dispatch, including whether originals or electronic copies are required.

Confirm destination requirements

Age limits, steering position, emissions, inspections and registration requirements differ by market. Ask your licensed local agent to confirm eligibility for the exact vehicle before you pay a deposit. A general checklist does not replace destination approval.

Shipment documents, costs and eligibility depend on the vehicle and destination. Confirm the current requirements with your clearing agent before placing an order.
