Match the exact vehicle
Compare the VIN, exterior, interior and nameplate photos. Verify the registration year separately from the model year, as they can differ. Make sure all photos and written details relate to the vehicle you are ordering.
Look beyond the headline
Ask about repairs, visible wear, mechanical condition and known faults. Check body panels, cabin condition, tyres, lights and the engine compartment. List any agreed repair, service or accessory work in the order instead of relying on a verbal promise.
Review mileage and powertrain
Compare the displayed odometer with the available service and inspection records. Mileage alone does not describe condition. For an electric or hybrid vehicle, ask for available battery-condition information and check that the charging connection suits your market.
Arrange an inspection
Discuss an appointment or an independent inspection before reserving the vehicle. Share your checklist and ask what evidence can be provided. Resolve missing or contradictory information before confirming the purchase.
Shipment documents, costs and eligibility depend on the vehicle and destination. Confirm the current requirements with your clearing agent before placing an order.
